What is DuraTherm®?
DuraTherm® is a design flexible and durable thermoplastic system
that is inset into asphalt pavement using StreetHeat® asphalt reheating
technology. The process of inlaying DuraTherm® into asphalt protects it
from wear—and ensures that it retains its bold look years.
DuraTherm® is cost effective easy to maintain and highly
design flexible. DuraTherm® is famous for its ability to inject community
branding elements into streetscape and urban redevelopment projects. DuraTherm®
is also ideal for commercial parking lot pedestrian channelization and crosswalks.
How DuraTherm® is installed:
· Heat asphalt using gentle reciprocating heat.
· Imprint and remove pattern templates.
· Insert high-performance thermoplastic.
· Melt and permanently fuse thermoplastic to asphalt surface.
